2013 is an important year for the business sector in Candelaria, Zambales. With the assumption to office of the newly elected Municipal Officials, headed by Mayor Napoleon E. Edquid, Vice Mayor Sergio Adriano R. Edquilang together with the members of the Sangguniang Bayan, two monumental events transpired, the passing of the New Municipal Revenue Code and the revision of the Citizen’s Charter. Both have tremendous impact on the business sector; while the Tax Code ensures uniformity in the amount of Taxes, Fees and Charges consistent with the prevailing economic environment the Citizen’s Charter safeguards the rights of public from fixers by streamlining the steps in securing permits and clearances from the LGU.

Steps in Securing Business Permit

  1. Applicant fills-up and secures the necessary documents listed in the Checklist for Mayor’s Permit Application (BP-Form1)
  2. The applicant fills-up the Application for Mayor’s Permit (BP-Form2) and submits the same to the BPLO for review and assessment.
  3. After payment of necessary fees and charges and securing the required clearances, the said application will be submitted to the Office of the Mayor for the issuance of the Business Permit.
